Welcome me back!

It's been 2 years since I posted.  Wow that's not nice of me.  I am going to try and be on top with keeping you all informed.  I have changed avenues quite a bit.  I continue to have my card workshops, but the demand has increased quite a bit and I am now sending our virtual card kits.  Many of them to the gals that are unable to attend my workshop but also for those that live too far away to attend.  I'm super excited.

I have been working on my open house displays.  Tonight I lifted a layout from the 5 Ways to Share Picture My Life.  This layout is similar to the one displayed.  I used Chantilly PML and Cotton Candy card stock.  These pictures are of my daughter who had her tonsils out.  Once I had the layout I decided the pink 1.5 x 4" strips of Hollyhock resembled band-aids.  So I fixed them so they really looked like band-aids.  I thought  it was definitely appropriate for the occasion.

It's been quite a challenge for marker storage to fit our new Shin Han Touch Markers.  This is what I came up with and it's looks great with my other pieces. I also have room for embellishments and punches.

I have been getting organized with my scrapbook room.  I purchased this wall unit from a shabby sheik business here in Sheridan.  https://www.facebook.com  is the name.  When I saw it I new I needed it and it is absolutely perfect for my little scrapbooking corner.
This fit perfect with the rest of my already cubes and storage areas.
Next my 10.00 desk I found online from Sheridan Up-cycle.  It finishes off the the corner quite nicely.

I have been a tad bit inactive as far as my blog.  I can see it's been almost a year.  Hope you enjoy the new Picture My Life (PML) Scrapbooking program by Close to My Heart.
These layouts were designed using photos from a previous album that lacked pizazz.  I reconstructed this album using the Surfs Up PML kit.
This is the first page which all I did was add a photo , some Cork Letters and a Surfs up embellishment.

This is page 2, 3 the page 2 is the back of page one obviously so I just added a few photos and my CD, along with my plane ticket stub.

On these 2 pages, I cut one of the 4 x 6 phots in have (sunset in the middle  and ocen photo on the 2nd page because I had more horizontal photos then vertical ones.  You will see this thought out the rest of they layouts. Also noted in the previous layouts the one of the air plane.  This is so versatile! Make it anything you want.
Visit to the Dole pineapple plantation!  A must if you go to Oahu.  The best pineapple ice cream ever!!

Of course we had a few LARGE photos that had to be worked in .  I used a layout from the Surfs Up paper packet and eased it in to match the PML layouts.  Notice the 2nd page.

This first page of these 2 layouts is the back of the one with the shop on it.  It is also just a plain sheet of Surfs Up and modified to look like the rest of the PML layouts.

Love these 2 layouts the card on the first page has anchors which match this theme perfectly.

I used mostly horizontal layouts as I had most of these types of photos.

Last pages of my album.  Also my favorite.  See how I sliced a panoramic photo into 3 pieces!  Also added a sticker I had in the original album.  Now I have to journal, which is not my favorite thing, but I want to take time and try and remember all we did on our vacation.
Hope you enjoy this!

For Always Paper Pack

Love the For Always paper pack.  This two versions of the card using different accent paper.  I have included the directions as best as i could  I didn't have anything to go by except a card I had received in a swap a long time ago.

I have been working on Valentine cards all week and today I decided to make one for my hubby.  I think I went overboard on the hearts but that's how I feel.  Hope he doesn't accidentally stumble upon my blog and find out!  This is a tri-fold card, there are many versions and directions.
I used a piece of card stock 8.5x10.5.  I did this to get exact measurements. Have you ever tried to get it exact leaving the paper at 11"?
Anyway I measured up 2.5" from bottom to the very top of the page and made an angle cut.  The rest you can probably figure out.
I used the For Always Paper Pack from CTMH and you can order it from me, just follow the link.  I also used last months Whooo's Your Valentine stamp set and some others I had lying around.
This little Valentine is from I think it was a Stampin Up stamp I got at a garage sale some time ago.  Love it and it's straight out of the dictionary.
