Starting my Christmas Cards

Here is my take on making Poinsettias- I used 5 layers. The largest is 3 and the red is 2.75 , 2.5, 2.25 and the baby is like 1.25.

Sunflower layout

I love, love sunflowers and when I found my sunflower paper tucked away in the closet I knew I had to make something. Do you know how long it would have taken to cut out all those sunflowers by hand. Not anymore, not with the handy dandy Cricket. I had the layout made before I had pictures to put in it. What better pictures to put in a sunflower layout then sunflowers. Outside with my camera!! It took me the better part of the day to accomplish this projects but I had loads of fun doing it. I used The Magic layout NOW YOU SEE IT. Only I didn't make this layout interactive. I think there is enough sunflowers without adding more.

My First Blog

Today July 22, 2011 I finally set up a blog.  I have been hearing so much about them so I decided to give it a try.  So much thinking to be done to choose just the right name.  Now let's see Lynn's Scrapbooking, no Lynn's Stamping and Scrap booking, or how about just Lynn's.  No someone already took it and you can't use characters. So I just chose Lynns Scrap booking.   Hope I get some followers!!  Probably not right away though.  I guess I have to tell people. Well I'm going to post this and see what happens.
